Menhir Fx produced two different trailers for this project: a story trailer and a gameplay trailer.
For this project, the studio worked closely with the developers to shape the trailer’s story, capture footage directly from the game build and Unreal Engine 5, and recreate cinematic camera movements and framing to enhance immersion. The studio also handled the full editing and narrative pacing of the trailer.
The project
1348 Ex Voto: a cinematic action-adventure game inspired by chivalric tales!
1348 follows the initiatory journey of Aeta, a knight searching for Bianca.
Through this quest, the trailer explores the intimate bond between the two characters, while confronting Aeta with the reality of 14th-century Italy: a world where chivalry, religion, and personal beliefs collide.
